STUTZ BLACK HAWK In 1927 the year of its introduction the Black Hawk won all but one of the AAA stock car races. This prompted an entry at Le Mans the following year and was rewarded with a brilliant 2nd place frightening the established Bentley Team. (This car was left hand drive but maybe made from this kit by altering the top shape of the right hand door) 1929 Stutz returned to Le Mans with three 5.3 ltr cars. One (the subject of the kit) with roots supercharger. This car caught fire and retired one of the others finishing 5th. 1930 three cars were again entered, this year all failed to finish. This kit can represent any of the 1929-1930 all being right hand drive. (Carve away supercharger between dumb irons for non supercharged cars) THE MODEL Features state of the art precision lightweight resin body with mudguards moulded integrally. Stainless steel photoetched windscreen frames, light brackets and steps. White metal radiator steering wheel, headlight bowls and filler cap. Vac formed light lenses and decals.
