GORDINI T32 8cyl 1955

The T32 Gordini was unveiled late in the summer of 1955. Its staight eight 2498cc engine was the last straight eight engine used in formula 1. It had an unusual streamlined body. This kit depicts the car on its debut with the original nose. Pictures from the period will show that the car rarely appeared twice in the same format. Four different exhausts were sported, two different noses and a plethora of air scoops and vents changed on almost a race by race basis. The variant with the alternate nose will be the subject of another kit in the Penelope Pitlane range.

THE MODEL

The kit includes lightweight precision moulded resin body, photo-etch stainless steel radiator grill, white metal dummy radiator, exhaust and mirrors, vac formed windscreen and drivers arms /shoulders with resin head. Decals 40 white and 40 black numbers and white roundel.
