LEGENDS 1937 Chevy Coupe
Most of you will be familiar with the Legends Race Series. Many countries host Championships for the 1200cc Yamanha motorcycle engined 5/8th scale replicas. Seven body styles are permitted, this 1937 Chevy Coupe being the first of Penelope Pitlane's offerings. This kit is unusual in that it is supplied with its purpose designed non adjustable chassis to promote competitive racing. The chassis also includes sturdy bull bars front and rear, 4 x CB wheels, white metal inserts and 2 x 40mm axles.
THE MODEL
The kit includes lightweight precision moulded 5/8th scale replica body. Purpose designed non adjustable nickel silver chassis with integral bull bars. 4 x CB wheels, white metal wheel inserts and axles.
PENELOPE'S TIPS
All that is required to complete the model are gearing to choice, nylon or Oilite rear axle bearings, guide and tyres. Recommended tyres are Scalextric Part No W9546 BMW Mini tyres or Ortmann equivalent.
The chassis is designed to accept the Scalextric short shaft Moto GP motor available in 20k, 25k, 30k, with the respective Part Nos C8424, C8425 and C8426. Scaleauto Moto GP range of motors will also fit but the motor shaft will need to be shortened by 7mm.
