CHENARD-WALCKER The amazing achievements of this little 1100cc car make interesting reading. It was hoped aerodynamics would compensate for their limited horsepower. 44bhp and 94mph. Cozette supercharged versions 60bhp and 102mph. Winning its 1st race the 1924 Boillot Cup and repeating this in 1925 and 1926, Winning the Rudge-Whitworth Cup for the index of performance at Le Mans in 1925, 1926. Won the 1100cc class in the Belgium 24hrs and winning the Spanish 12hrs outright. The cars were brought out of retirement a full 11 years later and they acheived 1st and 2nd place in the Bol d'Or 24hr race. THE MODEL The kit includes precision lightweight resin body with separate interior/driver. White metal steering wheel, filler caps, mirror and disc wheel inserts. Authentic head and tail lights and decals. PENELOPE'S TIPS SMJ chassis, RW1 wheels, PEW1 inserts may be used in place of the disc inserts provided if desired.
