1954 MASERATI 250f
A Maserati 250F won its first race, the first one of the 2.5ltr formula with Fangio in Argentina in 1954. It won more than 40 races and one even competed in the last race of the 2.5ltr formula in 1960.
The subject of this kit is the 1954 early version and every effort has been made to provide the most detailed version of the model. The body is modelled with all the louvres and bulges and the two most difficult exhaust versions are included.
By studying period photographs you will be able to ie sand off bonnet louvres, choose between exhausts, opt for the trident grille and or stone guards to represent any of the early cars.
THE MODEL
Lightweight precision moulded resin body including driver and head, photo-etch stainless steel trident radiator badge and stoneguards, vac formed windscreen, wihite metal choice of two exhausts, mirrors and dunlop wheel inserts. 40 white and 40 black numbers and white roundel decals.
